At Wynndale Primary School, we believe that the Early Years are a vital stage in every child’s learning journey. Our Foundation Stage is a happy and caring unit, where children can explore, discover, and grow with confidence.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, which sets the standards for learning, development, and care from birth to age five. Through a balance of play-based and structured learning, we encourage children to become curious, resilient, and independent learners.

By the end of the year, children leave EYFS as enthusiastic, independent and confident learners, ready to move into Key Stage 1 – with lots of happy memories of their first years at Wynndale Primary School.
