Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

At Wynndale Primary School we celebrate the differences between all children and value the contribution each member of our school community brings. We are a fully inclusive school and strongly believe that every child should have access to high quality education, we strive to ensure that each individual child's strengths are fostered and developed and their difficulties are supported and catered for.

We know that children develop at different rates and at some point in a child's journey through school they may need additional support to be able to access the curriculum. When a child is receiving additional or different provision to the rest of their peers they will be placed on the SEND register. You can find lots of information you may need about this on the website or please feel free to speak to your class teacher or our SENCO, Kathryn Tebbutt.
