Welcome

Welcome to Wynndale Primary School

Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you can find all the information you need about our school, and that you can see what a wonderful place Wynndale is for our children to learn and grow.

At Wynndale, we want every ‘Wynndale Learner’ to have the chance to shine!

We aim to ensure that every child in our care has the best possible education, so that they leave us with the knowledge, skills, vocabulary, qualities and values that they will need to be successful and reach their potential in life.

Wynndale is a place where we promote high academic standards, whilst valuing creativity and working hard to instill a thirst for learning in our children. It is a place where children develop their character; where they are encouraged to be kind, show empathy, tolerance and compassion, are emotionally happy and resilient, and above all have the integrity to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Wynndale is also a place where aspirations are high. As educators, we have high aspirations for ourselves and our school, and we strive to ensure children have the same high aspirations for their own futures, knowing that they can achieve their goals through hard work, grit and determination.

We believe that we can only achieve the best for our children by close collaboration between home and school, and by developing a sense of unity within our learning community. We therefore welcome families into school to share in their child’s learning journey, in their successes and their achievements and we always endeavor to develop our partnership working further.

Our website aims to provide our Wynndale Learning Community with up to date news and information about our school, as well as snapshots of our children’s exciting learning experiences. However, the best way to get a feel for the ethos of the school is to come and have a look at us in action, immersing yourself in the ‘Wynndale Way’.

We would always welcome any positive feedback or any suggestions and ideas you have to develop our website further, and we would welcome you into school to see our Wynndale Learners. If you require a paper copy of any of the information on our website, please get in touch with our school office team.

Thank you and best wishes
