We are very happy to show prospective parents round our school and answer any questions they may have. However, as a local authority school, we have no say in which children are offered places in our school. This is determined by the Nottinghamshire Admissions team (0300 5008080) and all applications must be made through the Admissions Team directly.

Admissions to Wynndale Primary School's Foundation 1 (Nursery) Provision

 All 3 and 4-year-old children are entitled to 15 hours of early learning and care from the term after their third birthday. This is known as their free entitlement and is available in local authority schools, pre-schools, playgroups, private day nurseries and independent schools.

Wynndale Primary School (FS1) offers up to 26 places for children aged 3 and 4 providing Early Years Education, and admissions to our Nursery are managed by the school office under our own Admissions to FS1 process.

Our FS1 provision is run in line with the timings of our school day. We offer both 15 hour and 30 hour provision - with 15 hour provision being mornings only. The timings for the morning session are 8.45 am (our doors open at 8.35am) to 11.45am.  The school end of the day for the 30 hour provision is 3.20 pm.

30 Hour Provision is available to working parents/carers of 3 and 4 year olds subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. Therefore, parents may be eligible for a further 15 hours per week of free childcare in addition to the existing free 15 hours. This is known as the 30 Hour Entitlement. Wynndale Primary offers Government funded 30 Hour Provision for eligible children or privately funded by those parents requesting it. However, priority for the allocation of 30 hour places will be given to those pupils who are eligible for the free 30 hour entitlement.  Children accessing 30 hours’ provision in F1 may purchase a school lunch (£3.40/day from September payable via our Arbor payment system).
