Welcome to FS1!

Our F1 team has Mrs Smith and Mrs Fletcher as the class teachers, then Miss Ravasio, Mrs Kimberley, Mrs Swanwick, Mrs. Smith and Mrs Foster rotate as support staff throughout the week. Mrs Fletcher teaches Monday and Tuesday and Mrs Smith teaches Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Throughout the year we learn about our family, celebrations, farm, dinosaurs, plants and growing before thinking about transition and ‘moving on’. Children learn. basic shapes and their properties such as corners and edges, grow their own vegetables and flowers, learn historical facts about dinosaurs and share in celebrations from around the world such as Diwali and Christmas. We also work hard to learn rhythms and beats and use these skills in our Christmas Nativity. Our understanding of the world is widened through learning and play and best of all, we spend time making new friends and having fun!

Please make sure the children are wearing their school uniform with their name in and have a coat, water bottle and a school book bag. If needed, please send additional clothing with your child alongside their reading diary and reading book each day.
